One thing about an Irish wedding is when you have amazing weather in conjunction with a truly stunning location like Connemara on the West of Ireland, you simply can not go wrong. These few amazing days we get each year really do make living here sooooo worth it. I was really excited about this day as I knew we would get some amazing shots with a couple of the locations that were in mind.
Here is my very first shot of the day and the view is from the front lawn of the Rosleague Manor Hotel in Letterfrack. What amazing scenery to wake up to in the morning and to enjoy whilst sipping your coffee/tea and nibbling on a pastry.
The dashing groom and his Best Man
Beautifully kept 1950′s Bentley and the engine still sounds sooo sweet, even today.
The expression on Siobhan’s face is priceless and it really did set the tone for the rest of the day.
Siobhan and Jim had their dog Buddy with them who was part of the celebrations when everyone returned to Rosleague Manor Hotel later in the day.
And last but not least a shot of the lovely couple together. I hope you enjoyed looking at these images as much as I took them.

Great wedding you shot here Mike! Wonderfull location, combined with a great eye for detail and emotion!
Such happiness captured!
Lovely photos Mike – loved the one that looks like the car is about to speed up the ramp and in to the Church
Lovely journal of the day Mike. I think my fav would be the mono shot of the Siobhan & her dad in the car. Glad the weather turned out so good and allowed you to get the most from the stunning location (as well give the B&G a good day too!) – the 40 shades of green always look better when we get some fair weather instead of the liquid sunshine that is mostly the norm!
Great series of shots Mike and yeah what a location!!!!
I really do enjoy looking through your shoots and seeing how you’re making use of the natural light; in particular the ‘makeup’ shots and the portraits positioned near to a window giving just the most beautiful light which I’ve no doubt your clients love!
Again, another great series mate…keep ‘em coming.
All the best to you,
Glyn
Thanks a lot for everyone who visited and left comments. It is very much appreciated!!!
