Whilst I was up with the in-laws for the Easter weekend. I met with Leomi & Liam, who’s wedding I will be shooting on the 5th June at St. Muredach’s Cathedral with the reception taking place at the Downhill House Hotel in Ballina. The weather for the weekend was not at its best but the guys were real troopers and we managed to grab an hour before the heavens decided to open up on us.
We started off at the front of Belleek Castle where we encountered the the resident dogs keeping watch over what we were doing. They were such dotes and wandered everywhere we went and all they wanted to do was to be in the pictures or be given loads of attention which was easy enough to sort out.

Leomi & Liam ejoying being Lord & lady for a short while. Somehow I get the impression they were enjoying it a tad too much lol
When the rain started we made a dash inside Belleek Castle and we were kindly given permission to take some pictures in the main entrance.

As we drove down to the woods itself I noticed the fence with the Daffodils and thought it would make for a good shot and how right I was.

After that we headed to the woods just outside the castle grounds where we had some fun before we had to get back to the car.
Thanks again guys for being such sports and having no issue about rolling around in the trees and leaves. Just wait to see what I have planned for the wedding day

Hey Mike,
Another great series of shots; you clearly have a real knack of making people feel relaxed infront of the camera and photographing fun!
Looking forward to getting some ‘shooting’ time together in May,
All the best to you,
Glyn
Great captures Mike! You really captured their happiness!
Lovely photos again Mike
Hey other Patterson! So funny that my husband’s name is Mike Paterson and he’s also a photographer. Now you have a twin in the States (well, less a “t”)!
Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate you taking the time to come and visit.
@ Amber – I know another tog in the USA with the same name. That’s that uniqueness now out the window lol
I love the daffodil shot and the shot of their hands. Lovely! Wish I got more E sessions!
